Swing
Thai
Denver's Favorite Local
Thai Food Restaurant
Thailand
is a country rich in culture and rituals. The name Swing Thai,
L.L.C. is derived from a swinging ceremony held in honor of
the God, Phra Isun, who visited the earth for twelve days
every January. Teams of men pumped a big swing back and forth
to set it in motion. As the swing soared higher into the sky
the men would
strive to snatch a bag of gold hanging from a tall pole. The
ceremony pleased their God who intern blessed them with abundant
fertility.

Swing
Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant located in two convenient
spots within the Denver Metro area. The first location on
Alameda and Pennsylvania opened in January of 1999. The Alameda
store was once an old filling station renovated by owner Jay
Dedrick. The Alameda location is a small classic-contemporary
building
utilizing an organic design enhanced by the beautiful hard
wood flooring, wide panel windows, and natural materials.
The
second location on Colorado Blvd. opened in July of 2000
and is much larger in size, but remains consistent with
its interior composition and exterior facade. The ambiance
of Swing Thai is warm, casual, and upbeat.
